This week, we’re proud to recognize and celebrate Twila Olson, LPN, our incredible Assistant Director of Health Services.
A lifelong St. Helens resident, Twila has been a dedicated part of the Avamere team since 2008. She began her journey in memory care and has grown through many roles over the years including caregiver, medication tech, cook, receptionist, and resident care coordinator, earning the nickname “Jill of All Trades” from residents and staff.
Twila’s passion for healthcare started at 18 years old, and her commitment to compassionate, hands-on care has only grown stronger. After earning her nursing degree in 2021, she returned to serve the community she calls home, bringing with her a deep understanding of teamwork, leadership, and resident-centered care.
She leads by example, never afraid to roll up her sleeves, support her team, and step in wherever she’s needed. Twila is dedicated to making sure every resident feels valued, respected, and truly cared for, while also uplifting and guiding those around her.
