🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day from the St. Ignace Police Department!

Today we proudly honor the Stars and Stripes, a symbol of our nation’s freedom, unity, and the sacrifices made by those who have served and continue to serve our country. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the values our flag represents and to proudly display it in our community.

Have a safe and wonderful Flag Day!

NOTICE OF BRONCO THE MAC PARADE TRAFFIC INTERRUPTION: This morning at 10:00 a.m., the Bronco the MAC parade procession will commence at the Little Bear location. Motorists are advised that traffic will be halted at the intersection of N State and Marquette Streets to facilitate a safe exit for the participating Broncos. The parade procession will traverse through town, crossing the bridge, proceeding through Mackinaw City, and returning northbound across the bridge. Upon the Broncos' return to St. Ignace, they will take the initial exit towards downtown and proceed to the Little Bear location. An additional traffic stoppage will occur at the intersection of N State and Marquette Street to enable the Broncos to safely return to the Little Bear. Considering an alternate route may be beneficial in expediting travel through town between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

A found wallet was recently turned in to the PD, perhaps someone can help us locate the owner. Attached is a picture of the ID that was in the wallet. If the owner can describe the wallet and the rest of the contents, they can have the wallet back. Name the movie if you can (without using the internet). It definitely made us laugh when we looked at the ID. Yes, this really happened.

Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage, honor, and selflessness built the foundation for the life we live today. We will never forget.
Thank you. 🇺🇸
