Reaching out is a sign of strength.

You don’t have to carry it alone. Veterans, Service members, and their loved ones can call 988, then press 1 to reach the Veterans Crisis Line.

On Tuesday (August 18th) and Wednesday (August 19th), multiple federal, state, tribal and local partners plan to participate in an exercise and exposition around the Little Bear East Arena and Cut River. This will focus on environmental protection and emergency response. The public may see response equipment deployed and other activity near the Cut River and non-toxic dye visible in the water near that area along the US-2 Highway.

The primary purpose of this event is to enhance preparedness and response capabilities among regional partners. As always, we are looking forward to protect our citizens and the lovely environment of Northern Michigan.

This is a scheduled training exercise; there is no active emergency or threat to the public or environment unless otherwise specified.

Thank you for Your Service.
