****PLEASE STAY SAFE****

Weather and road conditions continue to deteriorate in the Searcy county area as well as a large portion of Arkansas. Travel is discouraged. Hopefully, you have a winter emergency kit readily accessible. You should include:
Blankets,nutrition bars,
water, flashlight, spare batteries, phone charger, and spare medications. If you must attempt travel, tell someone where you’re going and when you are leaving. Emergency
responders will do their best to get to you in an emergency, but
They also will confront adverse conditions. Call volume may also affect when responders can get to you. Common sense, caution, and pre-planning are your friends. Stay safe!

Tuesday morning, about 10:25 AM, PG&S VFD responded to a one vehicle accident just south of the AR235 & US 65 intersection. The vehicle ran off the roadway after over correcting and stopped into the tree line in a small group of trees. There were no injuries and the vehicle was drivable. Just a reminder to all: please be careful this Thanksgiving holiday. It only takes a fraction of a second for things to rapidly change. Please do not drive distracted or impaired! The consequences can affect many lives for years to come. Happy Thanksgiving to our community. Have fun, Be safe ,and give thanks! 😊
