County offices will be closed Monday, September 7, in honor of Labor Day.

Don't forget! Next Wednesday, September 2, is a busy day. The Commission will meet at 8:30am to hold the County's Budget and RNR hearing. Then at 7:30pm, the Board of Zoning will convene to consider applications for a Solar Energy Facility and a Commercial Energy Storage System. Both meetings will take place in the County Annex and are open to the public. Information for all meetings can be found on our website.

The Stafford County Appraiser's Office is accepting applications for a Personal Property/Real Estate Clerk. Prospective employee will be responsible for field and clerical work related to data collection, upkeep of land transfer records, and value assigning. Don't forget! This Open House is tomorrow, Wednesday the 19th from 4p-7p at the County Annex! Stop in and learn more about the proposed Solar and Storage facilities before the Zoning Board meets on September 2nd!

Before the Zoning board meeting on September 2, there will be a open house in the County Annex for the public to stop in and learn about the solar and storage projects being proposed in Stafford County. Those interested are welcome to stop in any time on August 19, from 4-7pm, to meet with the team involved and ask any questions.
