Renovation Project Day 143: Floor tile and carpet have mostly been installed, and final coats of paint have followed. New ceiling fans went up in the children's area, and the new circulation desk is almost complete. And some of the new, fun items have been installed: the hood for the oven in the meeting room/program space, and the fireplace!

The Eureka Elementary Student Council is hosting a "Fill the Shelves" Drive for the Basic Needs Center in St. Johns. This initiative supports not just food, but also essential items like diapers, toothpaste, and laundry detergent. To make it more engaging, a contest has been organized for the students at Eureka. The grade level that collects the most items will win an ice cream party sponsored by their PTO, and currently, third grade is in the lead! Each classroom has a chart to track their contributions. Parents are encouraged to bring items to tonight’s music concert! Please make sure your student's name and grade are on any items you bring in! Also, the 2nd and 4th graders have adopted families this year and will be wrapping presents together this Friday! Great job Eureka students!
