Meet one of our amazing teachers!!!

St. Johns Public Schools welcomes our new Preschool Lead Teacher at Little Wings Early Learning Center, Sara Sillman.

Sara grew up right here in St. Johns and attended LCC and Baker College. Sara has been a part of the SJ district for 14 years in support staff and Preschool Associate Teacher roles.

"My husband and I are both graduates of St. Johns, as are all of our children."

When asked what she is most excited about in her new role Sara replied "I am most excited about being the first school experience for our littlest learners and hope to instill an early love of learning in them."

Adventure Club families:
*Edit* We will be open starting this Monday for our regular school-year hours!
We will also be open this Friday for those that need care! Please let me know as soon as possible if your child will be in attendance so I can let the staff know who to expect. Tomorrow is the big day!!! Come see our new center. The teachers and maintenance crew have been working VERY hard the past few weeks to get it ready, not to mention all the hard work the construction companies have put in over the past six months. We could not be more excited to share this with you🤩❤️🎉🥳

A huge thank you to the REOlds foundation for their support! This grant will go a long way in helping build the playground our kids deserve and will enjoy for years to come! I am beyond grateful to be a part of this wonderful time.

SJPS was awarded a $5,000 grant from the R.E. Olds Foundation for the St. Johns Early Learning Center! The grant will be used to help fund the pour-in-place rubber surfacing for the Early Learning Center playground. The community is cordially invited to attend the grand opening of the Little Wings Early Learning Center on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Again, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the R.E. Olds Foundation for their generous donation!
