Coronado Staff Shout-Out

Ms. Callen Richmond serves as one of our dedicated 1:1 aides. She is phenomenal at what she does. She cares deeply for the student she works with. She is fun and creative, patient, kind, and always has a smile on her face. The students adore her and we are so lucky to have her here at Coronado!

The Apache County Fair honored one of our amazing and well deserving 1st grade teachers, Mrs. Debbie Wollam, this past weekend. Her bubbly personality, team player attitude, and fun sense of humor made her an easy choice.

"This is Deb’s fifth year teaching first grade at Coronado Elementary School. Deb is always gentle, patient, and accommodating with her students. She does an outstanding job encouraging her students to work hard while creating a classroom environment that is fun and engaging. She is also a wonderful team member who is always willing to support those around her. Her kindness and dedication have made her a favorite among students and a teacher whom parents have come to know and love."

We are so lucky to have her!

Coronado September Newsletter

Sliver Coin Wars! This starts tomorrow. We have a container in the office for students to add to. Please bring your silver coins between September 1st and September 11th. We are competing against the Middle School and High School and our district is competing against Round Valley School District.

There are some hard lessons learned in 3rd grade, like “don’t throw your shoe in a tree to get down a ball that is stuck up there.”

Mrs. Nicole Johnson deserves a round of applause for holding the wobbly tall ladder in place so Ms. Bond did not fall and break something.

Happy to report, the shoe was retrieved and returned to the student!
