This beautiful arrangement of garden flowers was our happy Thursday surprise from one of our patrons! It brightens up our front desk and brings everyone a smile.

We want to extend a heartfelt Thank You to our Friends of Briggs District Library for their delightful decision to liven up our front porch with eight Boston Ferns. This lovely addition beautifully complements the single fern generously gifted by a thoughtful patron last week.

Please stop by Briggs District Library tonight and pick up your free food bags for the weekends. These kits are provided for children up to the age of 18. There is no registration or ID necessary for youth to participate. If you cannot make it at this time, please stop by anytime during the library’s open hours.

The week of May 25-30 is a busy week of preparation for upcoming Summer Reading celebrations in June. So the only adult program we have is Silent Book Club on Tuesday, May 26 from 5:30-7:30 pm.

We'll be at the Relay for Life on Saturday, May 30 with all sorts of activities for Youth. Stop by Uncle John's anytime between 11 am and 1 pm and see us!

The library will be closed Saturday, May 23 and Monday, May 25. We will re-open at 10:00am Tuesday, May 26.

Farm Day is on June 12th from 10-11:30AM at Humble Beginnings Ranch- 4151 E. Walker Rd, St. Johns MI! Join us for storytime, songs, hopefully seeing some baby animals, and a free book and snack!

Things may get a lil messy, please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes:)
