Summer Feeding Information

🌞🍎 ONLY 1 DAY LEFT! 🍎🌞

❤️ Tomorrow is the day! SIGN-UP YOUR KIDS NOW!

Beginning June 1, 2026, LaSalle Community Action Association will start distributing FREE weekly summer meal boxes to children 18 years old and younger.

With grocery costs continuing to rise, this program can help families put nutritious meals on the table all summer long — at absolutely no cost.

Each eligible child will receive:
🥞 7 Breakfasts
🥪 7 Lunches
✅ FREE every week throughout the summer

📅 Distribution Every Monday starting June 1, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Tensas Parish School Board last drawing for the year, for students with perfect attendance for the month of May, was filled with anticipation . Each month students that have had perfect attendance have been entered into a drawing and each lucky winner was rewarded with a $10 prize. Congratulations to all winners! Superintendent Russ would like to again thank everyone who contributed to make this possible in our attempt to encourage students to attend school everyday. (John Turner, Esaw Turner, Annise Miller, Mateo Lopez, Sharon Robinson, Demetria Dix, and Superintendent Russ).
