The Northeast Louisiana Arts Council invites kids across our 12-parish region to take part in Color 318: A Kids Art Project - a fun, free art activity for students, families, and classrooms.

Download our special 318 coloring sheet, decorate it however you like, and help us fill Northeast Louisiana with color!

Use crayons, markers, paint, glitter, patterns - anything your imagination dreams up. This is all about celebrating the creativity of our region’s young artists.

In conjecture with LSU Ag Center, the Tensas Parish Library is participating in “A Taste of Herbs”. Stop by the library and pick up your fact sheet with recipes and ideas and a sample of the herb or spice.
This months flavor of the month is Turmeric.

We’ve read some really cool books and did some awesome arts and crafts projects at summer reading.
Steamboat Captains, mermaids, pirates and armadillos so far, all with a local twist.
