Youth Volunteer Corps of St. Joseph MO We engage youth (11-18) in team-based, structured, diverse, flexible service-learning opportunities. YVC of St Joseph MO is based out of the Youth Alliance.

The Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) is a national, not-for-profit network of programs that offer young people, ages 11 to 18, the opportunity to improve their community through volunteering. Four fundamental goals:

1. To engage youth in service projects that are challenging, rewarding and educational.

2. To serve the unmet needs of the community and its residents.

3. To promote among youth a greate

r understanding and appreciation for the diversity of their community.

4. To promote a lifetime ethic of service among youth.

Who's looking for fall mums? We have the best ones! YVC of St. Joseph is working with Midwest Mums to bring gorgeous 2-gallon mums to St. Joseph! Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple, and white mums! YVC loves to volunteer for St. Joseph Missouri Parks, Recreation, and Civic Facilities by helping to paint fences, trash cans, helping with activities during events at the parks.
