This week, members of our team and Board of Directors were in St. Louis for the National Community Action Partnership's annual conference.

It was a great few days of networking with fellow leaders, learning new strategies and discovering innovative ways to better serve our community.

SNAP Verification Requirements Are Changing

Starting October 1, 2026, you may need to provide proof of certain expenses and resources when you:

--> Apply for SNAP

--> Renew your SNAP benefits

--> Add someone to your SNAP case

Be ready to provide proof of:

🏡Rent, mortgage, utilities

👶 Childcare or dependent care costs

💳 Resources, such as money in the bank

Having your documents ready can help prevent delays.

CAPSTJOE is seeking proposals/bids for a project at our 4803 St. Joseph Avenue, Northside facility. Bids to include all materials and labor to remove (haul off) & replace the roof of a 30’ x 60’ structure.

This is a prevailing wage Davis Bacon project.
