The phones and fax lines to Northeast Louisiana Ambulance Service are back up and working again.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the outage. We all seem to be at the mercy of the telephone companies.
Emergency services call 911 or 318-435-7000.
Business calls or Franklin Parish Coroner’s office calls call 318-435-8351.

AT&T surprised us-service has been restored!

AT&T advised it would be tomorrow before phone lines would be restored, 911 lines ARE working. These are admin lines only and your cell phones. We have our admin lines forwarded to our office cell phone so please have patience when calling.

The fiber between St.Joseph and Waterproof has been cut-just south of Locust Ridge area. Hopefully, it’ll be restored soon.

A fiber line has been cut causing all the trouble we have been experiencing today…technicians are onsite repairing it.

Dispatch has been made aware of trees/lines down on Newton Street(St.Joe) and Highway 575(Nton)

You can directly report outages to Entergy from their app.

Below is the tree on Newton St-stay home, you do not want that falling on your vehicle!

‼️UPDATE-Highway 65 is OPEN‼️

Per Tensas Parish Sheriff’s Office Highway 65 is closed from Lake St John turn off (south of Waterproof)to Indian Village Rd (just inside Concordia Parish), please use alternate routes. They are saying this will be closed for at least an hour.

There has been a wreck and they are clearing the road.
