Lory’s Place, a grief-healing and education center, founded in 2004, after the tragic death of Dr. Lory Schults in a car accident. Its mission is to provide a safe, comforting atmosphere in which grief healing can take place following the death of a family member or an important friend. The services of Lory’s Place are available to all who need them and there are no geographic restrictions. People

come from throughout southwest MI and northern IN. The services of Lory's Place are at no charge to those that need them.

At Lory’s Place, we believe no one should have to carry that weight alone. Through connection, understanding, and support, healing can begin—one step at a time.
