With seven days to go before the SLP Middle/High School Orioles Cross Country Geezer Chase, here are the top seven reasons to sign up:
1. Get a unique and fun t-shirt, equally wearable at the MN Opera or Menards
2. See how long you can hold out against our ultra-fit, ultra-competitive, teenaged runners!
3. Youth running builds strong character and strong bones
4. You can bring your dog, stroller, children, neighbor, or anyone else to join you
5. Get your free banana!
6. We also have virtual and “I’ll chase you from the couch” options for ultimate flexibility
7. Support the St Louis Park XC team!
Sign up here to experience all these things and more! The race will be held on Wed. Aug 21 at 6:30 pm at the SLP Middle School grounds. Geezer Chase fundraising outfits the team with supplemental coaches, a summer camp, and need-based gear scholarships such as running shoes and spikes. We are counting on your support to help all our students reach their “personal best” this season.
Want to support the team but aren’t free that day or don’t want to run two miles? Check out the virtual and “chase you from the couch” options -- you can still support the team and walk, run or sit back in your own way and on your own schedule.

The Geezer Chase is on Wednesday August 21, 2024. It includes the following events: Geezer Chase In-Person, SLP Students and SLP XC Alumni, Geezer Chase Virtual, and "I'll Chase You From the Couch".

Come join us tonight 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at knollwood Green Park for national night out!!

National night out is this coming Tuesday please come join us at knollwood Green Park from 6 to 9:00 p.m..

We will provide tables to put food on plates utensils bug spray.

A change up this year we will be catering in some food from Cecil's deli in St Paul and some pizza from Pizza Luce in Hopkins.

We're still working on a face painter to be on location.

The city is planning on sending police fire EMT and other machinery as well as some politicians.

Please bring non-perishable items that the police will be picking up for step.

As we didn't do paper flyers this year please let all neighbors that you talk to know that we're doing national night out this Tuesday 6:00 to 9:00 p.m..
