T.A. Cutler Memorial Library We are a public library, serving the residents of the City of St. Louis, Gratiot County, Jasper Town

We provide the following services:
10 public access computers with Microsoft Office productivity software and high speed internet connections
Free Wi-Fi
A collection of over 30,000 physical items including books, large print books, audiobooks on CD, video rentals, magazines, newspapers, a local history collection, music CD's, and more
Free summer reading programs annually for children between the

ages of 3 and 18
Friends of the Library volunteer organization
Fax (domestic only, no international), printing (black & white and color), laminating services (up to 8.5 x 11" sheets), and scanning services for small fees
Ebook, digital audiobooks,and digital magazine collections
and more...

To register for a new library card, patrons must bring proof of their current address and fill out a brief form. Children between the ages of 5 and 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with proof of address.

The library will be closed Saturday through Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday. There is still plenty of time to pick up books, videos, etc. for the long weekend!

WiFi will remain on and extends to the parking lot while we are closed, and our digital collections can be borrowed 24/7 from anywhere you can access the internet as long as you have an active library account in good standing. Today is Dow Gardens third Library Card Night of the summer from 4:30-8:00 p.m., and the weather looks beautiful (although I think there's a chance of thunderstorms).

Library Card Night returns Wednesday, August 12 from 4:30–8 PM. Each guest age 6 and up receives free admission with their own valid Michigan public library card, while children 5 and under enter free. Present cards at admissions. Cards in the myLIBRO app are accepted, and no advance reservations are required.

Don't forget, all completed summer reading program challenges must be turned in by Friday August 14 at 6:00 p.m. in order to collect prizes and be entered in the grand prize drawing. This deadline is both for returning physical logs to the library or submitting virtual logs through the app. Congratulations to all the great readers in our community! We hope you've had fun, regardless of whether you completed the challenge or simply started it, and you still have a few days left if you're not quite there yet🙂

Today is the primary election. Visit the Michigan Voter Information Center online at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/ to check your registration status, find your polling location, view your sample ballot and more. Polls close at 8:00 p.m.

It's Election Day! Polls are open statewide from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If you still need to register, you can do so in your clerk’s office with proof of residency until 8 p.m. and vote.
