🔌PUBLIC POWER COLORING CONTEST💡

Join us in celebrating Public Power week this October (4th-10th)!

What Are the Rules?
1. This contest is open to participants in 1st- 4th grade for Fall of 2026.
2. Contestants may only submit one entry.
3. Submissions will be accepted through Friday, September 11th.
4. The winner(s) will be announced September 14th, with presentation of local awards at the September 15th council meeting.
5. Winning submissions will then be sent on to MMEA for further consideration and
publication during power week.

The contest winner will receive a $50 Amazon gift card & may be featured in MMEA’s Currents magazine! Check it out at MIpublicpower.org!

⚠Submissions must be received by Friday, September 11th. St. Louis teachers may collect in classroom or Mail or drop off this form with the completed coloring sheet during business hours to St. Louis City Hall.

Residential service will be delayed for the upcoming holiday.

There will be no service on Monday, September 7.

Residential trash, recycling and yard waste collection will be delayed by one day the week of September 7. Friday collection will take place on Saturday, September 12. Normal collection schedules will resume on Monday, September 14.

Reminder: City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

Please note that many local businesses may also change their hours in observance of the holiday. Please plan accordingly.

There will be a Labor Day Bridge Walk at 8am behind the St. Louis High School where they will cross the bridge. The event is free and will be followed by breakfast and a guest speaker in Clapp Park.
