A poet and dynamic performer specializing in African folktales and stories from around the world!

A lifelong Louisiana resident, her name, Mama Saba means “mother of seven” in Swahili, reflecting both her roots and her spirit.

Through song, dance, and joyful audience participation, she weaves folktales, tall tales, “ole” tales, and original stories into unforgettable, high-energy experiences.

This is storytelling you don’t just hear—you feel. Clap, sing, and step into the story as she leads you on a lively journey where every story plants a seed of wonder and every voice is part of the rhythm!
