French Immersion 2nd graders from Myrtle Place Elementary had a fun visit at Longfellow, where they toured the Olivier Plantation and Acadian Cabin, played traditional games, and experienced history and culture — une belle journée d’apprentissage et de découverte.

Hidden in Plain Sight, the companion exhibit for Louisiana Grass Roots, is now on display at Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site in St. Martinville.

Also come on out to see Louisiana Grass Roots on Tuesday January 27 at 6pm.
