Election Day is Tuesday and we are in need of alternate poll workers!

What is an alternate?
An alternate is a substitute poll worker. They stay on standby on Election Day in case a working poll worker must call off.

What are the requirements?
Alternates have to be a registered voter and take a short training class.

What does it pay?
Alternates are paid $25.00 to attend the training course, then $50.00 to be on call. Should an alternate be called to work, they would be paid the full poll worker pay of $200.00.

When is class?
Monday May 11, 2025 at noon.
