If you have damage from the tornadoes, or are still assessing, please register with FEMA by one of these 3 ways on this form. You may also stop by the Pleasants County Senior Citizens Center Monday through Saturday from 7am-5pm for in person assistance. On the bottom left of the form, it lists what you need to register. Money granted by FEMA is exactly that, a grant! It is not a loan you need to pay back.

This is not just damage to your home! This could be personal roads or bridges into your home, appliances, HVAC, prescriptions, or displacement assistance if you have been unable to stay in your home.

There is a possibility this could also assist with campers that are your primary residence!

Please reach out if you are even questioning that they might be able to assist!

Also please be aware that the ONLY time a representative would come to your door is if they’ve scheduled an appointment! They will have an ID on them.

THE UNSUNG HEROES BEHIND WEST VIRGINIA ELECTIONS
Every election has candidates, campaigns, and headlines. But behind every ballot cast and every result properly counted and reported is a dedicated group of citizens whose service make our democracy possible: poll workers.

Most voters never see the full scope of their work. Poll workers arrive before dawn to set up voting precincts, test equipment, verify voter information, and prepare for a long day of service. In our May Primary Election, West Virginia had 1,684 precincts open to the voters with more than 8,400 poll workers in place on election day.

When the polls close, the work of our poll workers is far from finished. They remain on duty ensuring ballots are secured, counted, and reported accurately. Their commitment often stretches well beyond the time the evening news has signed off.

The State DOH is asking the citizens to NOT dump debri into the State DOH right of ways. They are working diligently to clear right of ways & this is delaying their progress.
