We are so thankful for assistance from Crystal Fire Department, City of St. Marys Police Department, and Ridgway Ambulance Corporation without question when call volume spikes - allowing us to continue to provide high quality, uninterrupted coverage to our community.
And it does not go without the cooperation of local businesses allowing their employees to “step out” when the call comes. This point is SO important - this is why it is important to support local, because they support you, your family, your community, and your safety more than you know! 💙
🚨 BUSY DAY FOR ELK COUNTY FIRST RESPONDERS | Community Update
If you had your scanner on today, you already know the airwaves were absolutely buzzing. It was a busy day for our local Emergency Medical Services across Elk County.
When regional volume spikes, our local public safety network relies heavily on seamless teamwork. Today was a textbook example of that.
👏 A Huge Shout-Out to Our Local Businesses!
An overlooked part of making days like today work is our local business community. We want to send a massive thank you to the area employers and companies who graciously allow their employees to drop what they're doing and leave work at a moment's notice to respond to an emergency. Without these businesses allowing their staff to step away, daytime staffing would be an even bigger hurdle. Your civic partnership literally saves lives!
We are incredibly grateful for the dedication of our local paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, cops, dispatchers, and the businesses who support them.
