Getting on-duty crew, off-duty staff, and students all together for our weekly tradition? Easy.

Getting 11 people to all look at the camera and smile at once? Impossible. 😅

Today marked our first 911 call during Breakfast Club! Tell us: have you ever had to chug chocolate milk and shovel down waffles in record time to dash out the door when someone needs emergency assistance? It’s a specialized skill, but our on-duty crew nailed the response time! 🏃💨

It was great having everyone together to keep this weekly tradition going strong.

Special thanks to The New West Wind Restaurant! We never knew they did breakfast, but the food was incredible and the service was amazing. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Out for Breakfast This Morning! 🥓🥞

High call volume kept our crews running and missed out on breakfast last week, but serving this community is always our top priority.

🥞 Half-eaten pancake, completely full hearts.

We always sit down for our "Breakfast Club" with the best of intentions to take a nice, organized group photo to share with you all. But so far? It hasn’t worked out a single time!

Today we met up at the Corner Restaurant, and we were immediately distracted by the menu, especially after we learned they make their sausage in-house every single morning! 🤯 (We can officially confirm: it is absolutely DELICIOUS.)

Once the food hit the table, we got so caught up in chatting, talking shop, laughing, and just enjoying each other's company that before we know it, the plates were cleared and it was time to head back to our day. In our line of work, we deeply appreciate these rare moments to slow down and come together as a team.

We also want to send a very special, heartfelt thank you to Jenn Vallimont. Today, Jenn incredibly picked up our breakfast tab in loving memory of Elaine. Elaine would have absolutely loved sitting here, chatting, and being a part of the laughter today. While we never, ever expected such a thing, it was a truly warming gesture that touched all of us deeply. Thank you, Jenn. ❤️

If you ever see our rigs parked outside or spot us grabbing breakfast while you’re out and about, please don’t hesitate to say hello! We always love connecting with the community in a casual setting. Active Cooling Techniques: Best practices for lowering core body temperatures rapidly using shading, misting, and cold therapies.

Medical Monitoring & Vitals: What parameters (heart rate, BP, temp) mean a responder must sit out, and when they are safe to return to the fight.

Hydration & Recovery Science: Moving past just water to effectively replace electrolytes and prevent kidney stress.

Scene Logistics: How to efficiently set up a rehab footprint on both small and large-scale incidents.

ITLS class is a go for Sept. 19th and 20th. 16hrs of coned for EMS. This class is for ALS, BLS, AND Nurses! 8a-4p on Saturday and Sunday. You must buy your own book through the ITLS web site...www.itrauma.org. The class is $50. We will provide drinks and food. Call Brockway Ambulance to sign up!!!
