☕️ Thank You for Joining Us at Coffee & Chit Chat! ☕️

A big thank you to all of the Elk County families who joined us for Coffee & Chit Chat! We loved spending the morning connecting with parents and caregivers in our community. 💛

A special thank you to Chief Shaffer from the City of St. Marys Police Department for taking the time to join us and share such valuable information and helpful safety tips for parents and families. 👮‍♂️🛡️

Your knowledge, insight, and willingness to answer questions made the conversation both informative and meaningful. We truly appreciate your partnership and commitment to keeping our families safe!

And, of course, thank you to all the families who came out, shared a cup of coffee, enjoyed some conversation, and helped make the morning such a success. ☕️🍪

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect, learn, and grow together as a community. We hope to see you at our next Coffee & Chit Chat! 💕

The Saint Mary’s Police Department is currently collaborating with Law Enforcement Partners of Bowling Green, Ky to create a department calendar for 2027. They will be calling local businesses in our area to seek sponsorship for advertising space on the calendars. 🏫 A Successful Start to the School Year! 🚸

We’re happy to report a safe and successful first few days of school and want to thank everyone for helping keep our students safe!

As everyone settles back into the school-year routine, the City of Saint Marys Police Department reminds motorists that our school zones are active and enforced during school opening and dismissal times.

Please remember to:
🚗 Follow all posted school zone speed limits
🛑 Watch for and obey our crossing guards
👀 Stay alert for children crossing or walking near the roadway
📵 Put the phone down and keep your attention on the road

Our school zones are busy places during arrival and dismissal. A little extra patience and attention can make a big difference.

Slow down. Stay alert. Help us keep our kids safe.

Have a safe and successful school year! 🚔📚
