🏊☀️ OPENING DAY IS HERE! ☀️🏊

The wait is over. The St. Marys Community Pool officially opens TODAY for the 2026 season!

Opening Day Hours:
🕛 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Will it be the hottest day of the summer? Probably not. But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a great afternoon at the pool!

Come soak up some sunshine, relax poolside, grab a snack from the concession stand, hang out with friends and family, and kick off summer with us. If you've already purchased a membership, today is a great day to start using it. If you haven't purchased one yet, memberships will also be available.

After everything that has gone into getting the pool ready for this season, we're excited to finally welcome everyone back through the gates. Thank you to our staff, lifeguards, and community for your patience and support throughout the process.

Whether you're swimming, sunbathing, enjoying a treat from concessions, or simply stopping by to see the pool back in action, we'd love to see you there.

Summer starts today. See you at the pool! 🌊☀️

🏊‍♀️☀️ The St. Marys Community Pool will officially open on June 15, 2026!

Membership sales begin June 6.

Daily admission rate is $5/day.

The baby pool will NOT be running this year.

We're excited to share that Memorial Pool has received approval from its most recent inspection and is currently being filled!

While this is a major milestone, there is still work to be completed before we can officially open for the season.

Operating hours, membership information, swim lessons, and other programming details are still being finalized.

As many of you know, this season is unique. In addition to preparing the facility, we are working to certify lifeguards, complete staff training, and onboard an entirely new management team. Our goal is to ensure that when the pool opens, it does so safely and successfully for everyone.

We appreciate the community's patience and understanding as we work through these final steps. We know many residents are eager to get back in the water, and we are just as excited to welcome everyone back to Memorial Pool.

Additional information regarding opening day, memberships, swim lessons, and pool hours will be announced as soon as details are finalized.

Please take a moment to thank the St. Marys Pool Committee, Russ Snelick, Scott Harvey and the many businesses who have worked extremely hard to make this possible. Without their support, this would not be happening!

NEW UPDATE:
We will be having a course of our own, if we can get at least 5 participants to enroll.

When: June 7 through June 10 (used as an extra day if needed)

Time: 8AM-6PM each day

Where: St. Marys Community Pool (JCC as backup if weather is an issue)

Cost: If you participate in our course, we will pay the cost up front. If you attend elsewhere, you will be reimbursed at the end of summer.

Interested candidates, please reach out no later than Tuesday, May 26th.

We are still searching for lifeguards!

We have a great list of potential lifeguards, but are in need of more in order to make the most of the summer.

As a reminder, you need to be at least 15 years old to enroll in the course, meaning ADULTS CAN LIFEGUARD TOO! We are willing to work around schedules, evenings, baseball games, appointments, etc.

Reach out via email or phone if interested!

The pool will be OPEN 12pm-5pm today! 🏊‍♂️☀️

Today is the last day of the season! Come enjoy the beautiful sunshine and relax by the pool!

Daily passes are $5.00 a person. Ages 2 and under free. $3.00 for Veterans and Emergency Responders.

Unfortunately, the baby pool will be closed for the remainder of the season due to mechanical issues😔. Each side of the pool has a transition area buoyed off (3ft). Children can wear floatation devices in these areas.
