The first 200 guests will receive a FREE copy of our newly published "Who is Richard Bushong" booklet, the second in our MHS Hall of Fame series. Free light refreshments, cash bar, 50-50, and a drawing for a gorgeous handmade Red, White & Blue quilt and more!

Shop With The Blue is a wonderful program where Auglaize County’s finest actually take children shopping for their Christmas presents. You should see the joy on children’s faces as they spend time with an officer or deputy and pick out clothing and toys. It’s quite a sight! You can donate to this program by either mailing a check to the address listed below or visit www.thesmcf.org, click on Donation, and select Shop With The Blue from the drop down menu. You can securely donate either by credit card or from your bank account & receive a confirmation letter for tax purposes.

The RIDER RAFFLE raises money for our schools, students, and scholarships. Last year, we were able to award a record 3️⃣4️⃣scholarships to MHS seniors and alumni!! Over the past 7 years, we've awarded 1️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ scholarships for trade schools, vocational schools, colleges, and graduate schools. Can you help us give back to our students by purchasing a raffle ticket? Tickets are available from our INCREDIBLE St. Marys All Brass (St. Marys Bands) and at one of our most supportive sponsors, MINSTER BANK. The drawing is Oct. 10th. Over $15,000 in prizes!!

Hey freshman and sophomores!! It's not too early to start preparing for scholarships. Our scholarship applications asks you to provide information about your entire high school history. Many of the committees that review applications look at your involvement from your freshman year to your senior year with clubs, sports, and organizations at school, and at your involvement in the community with church, 4H, and other activities. To have a well rounded resume by the time you are a senior, you need to plan now. Check out clubs and organizations at school and get involved.

An important part of receiving a scholarship is saying THANK YOU to the sponsor. If you have not written a thank you note yet to your 2026 scholarship sponsor, please do so. Sponsors put a lot of thought and effort - and money - into reviewing applications and selecting YOU to represent their scholarship. Put some time and effort in return.
