Crystal Fire Department Crystal Fire Department proudly protects people and property in the City of Saint Marys. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily suburban area.

Our department has 84 members, 4 engines, 1 tower, 1 rescue, 1 tanker, 2 utility trucks & 1 UTV.

Join our friends from the Elk County Cruisers and us for Aviation Day this Saturday from 9-4 at the St. Mary’s Airport! There will be plenty of cars, trucks, and planes to see along with activities for the kids like our firefighter challenge. Also, you will have a chance to win this wagon stuffed with goodies! This is the 16th Annual Aviation Day/Car Show and we all look forward to seeing you!

The CFD responded to approximately 120 calls for service last evening after heavy rains hit our area. These calls included flooded basements, trees/power lines down, structural collapses, and more. Please use caution as some roads could still be flooded/washed out and other hazards may be present. A huge shoutout to Fox Township Volunteer Fire Department,Jay Township Volunteer Fire Company,Ridgway Fire Department,Elkland Search and Rescue,City of St. Marys Police Department, City of St. Marys Road Crew, and Elk County Office of Emergency Services for all their help with our calls!

This morning, members of the CFD attended mass at Sacred Heart Church in honor of St. Florian Day. St. Florian is the patron saint of firefighters. All the members received a blessing to be watched over as they respond to calls and dangers that might arise.
