Join us this Thursday at WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital near the helipad as we mark 40 years of serving communities across our system. It's a chance to connect with friends, partners, and neighbors while reflecting on the journey that brought us here.

What an incredible day!

We want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone in our community who came out today and helped make our event such a success. Seeing so many families, kids, friends, and neighbors come together made all the work that went into today completely worth it.

We also want to thank everyone who helped participate, volunteer, organize, and support the event. We couldn’t have done it without you! Today was about more than just showing off emergency vehicles — it was about bringing our community together, letting our kids meet the people who serve them, and creating some great memories along the way.

Pleasants County and all of our friends in the surrounding counties — come join us TODAY for the FIRST ANNUAL Pleasants County EMS Emergency Vehicle Petting Zoo!

📅 TODAY — Sunday, August 23rd
⏰ 12 NOON – 3:00 PM

Bring the kids and come spend the afternoon getting an up-close look at the ambulances, fire trucks, police vehicles, helicopters, and other emergency vehicles that help serve our communities! 🚑🚒🚓🚁

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This event is for EVERYONE! Whether you're from Pleasants County or one of our neighboring communities, we'd love to have you come out, meet some of our local first responders, check out the equipment, and enjoy a fun afternoon with the family.

Pleasants County EMS is excited to invite EVERYONE to our FIRST ANNUAL EMERGENCY VEHICLE PETTING ZOO!

📍 St. Marys Marina

We’re inviting all of Pleasants County AND our friends and neighbors from surrounding counties to come spend the afternoon with us! Bring the kids, bring the family, bring your friends — and come check out some awesome emergency vehicles up close!

🚑 Explore an ambulance
🚒 Check out the fire trucks
🚓 Meet local law enforcement
🚁 Get an up-close look at a medical helicopter
👨‍🚒👮‍♂️🚑 Meet some of the first responders who serve our communities

This is a chance for kids and adults alike to see the vehicles and equipment they normally only see racing down the road with lights and sirens!

And the best part? It’s all about bringing our community together and having some fun!

Whether you live right here in Pleasants County or you’re coming over from Wood, Ritchie, Tyler, Washington County or anywhere else nearby — YOU’RE INVITED! ❤️
