This past Saturday was a memorable day for the St. Michael Fire Department as we proudly welcomed two new Pierce fire engines into service with a traditional Truck Push-In Ceremony.

The Push-In Ceremony is a time-honored fire service tradition dating back to the days of horse-drawn fire apparatus. When firefighters returned from a call, the horses were unhitched, and crews would physically push the apparatus back into the station. Today, we continue this tradition to honor the rich history of the fire service while celebrating the future of our department.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our current and retired St. Michael firefighters, their families, city leaders, and community members for helping make this special milestone possible. It was especially meaningful to have our retired firefighters with us, whose years of dedication, service, and commitment helped build the strong department we are today.

These two new Pierce fire engines represent an important investment in the safety of our community and will provide our firefighters with the tools they need to continue delivering exceptional emergency services for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. We are honored to carry on the traditions of the fire service while remaining committed to protecting and serving the St. Michael community.

WOW. What an incredible day!

The First Annual St. Michael Fire Golf Tournament is officially in the books, and we cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone who helped make it such a tremendous success.

To our sponsors—thank you for believing in this event and supporting the St. Michael Fire Department. Your generosity, hole activities, giveaways, prizes, and enthusiasm helped create an unforgettable experience for every golfer on the course.

To our golfers—thank you for filling the tournament, bringing the energy, and sticking with us through a little Minnesota weather! While Mother Nature gave us a few raindrops, she certainly couldn't dampen the fun, camaraderie, and excitement that filled Fox Hollow Golf Club all day long.

From the one-putt challenge and on-course contests to the amazing Big Boar BBQ banquet, awards, and fellowship afterward, the day exceeded all of our expectations. Seeing our community come together to support the Fire Department was truly special.

Because of your support, we are already looking forward to making next year even bigger and better.

From all of us at the St. Michael Fire Department, thank you for helping make our first year such a memorable success. We are grateful for every sponsor, golfer, volunteer, and supporter who made this event possible.
