Enough is Enough. Even with some of the new anti-fraud provisions we passed this year in the legislature, fraud remains—and will continue to remain—an ongoing priority, as reflected in both the $90 million theft and other recent failures of oversight. We need real changes in the culture and operating environment within our departments, and my legislation would help accomplish that by holding both thieves and department heads accountable.
