Citywide Tenant Protections Community Conversation

Date: Thursday, May 7, 2026
Time: 6p - 7:30p
Location: North End Community Center 145 Lawson Ave W, Saint Paul

Join us on Thursday, May 7 from 6pm - 7:30pm at the North End Community Center for a citywide conversation on tenant protections.

The Tenant Protection Ordinance goes into effect May 14, 2026. This ordinance was the result of years of community engagement, Council advocacy, and partnership with the City - and now we’re focused on how they’re going to work in practice. This conversation is an opportunity to learn more about current tenant protections, ask questions, learn about how this will be implemented, meet staff, and ultimately prepare for May 14 and beyond. This is free and open to the public.

Renters, landlords, and community members are all encouraged to attend. City staff will be present to answer questions and gather feedback.
