Wow - that's a whole lotta red! The red = home fire events that our Disaster Action Team has responded to across our three-state region this year from January 1 through October 31. The team is always busy helping people who need emergency relief, such as shelter, food, clothing, health services and emotional support after disasters. Many thanks to all who have responded to local disasters. We encourage everyone to have working smoke alarms. Why? Because they help reduce injuries and deaths from home fires. If you're seeking a great way to give back, then consider becoming a Red Cross DAT volunteer. More ▶️ redcross.org/givetime
