Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teenager.
Woodbury police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Anlatayla Ames, also known as Tayla or Tay. She is 5’2 ” tall and weighs 130 pounds, has black eyes, dark brown hair and a piercing in her right nostril.
Ames left her home in Woodbury on October 10th. She was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a black cropped sweatshirt. She has been known to stay in the Twin Cities Metro Area at homeless shelters and bus lines.
If anyone has any information, they should call 911.

The Minnesota Cold Weather Rule ends April 30th.

Minnesota's Cold Weather Rule (CWR) is a state law that in most cases protects residential utility customers from having electric or natural gas service shut off between October 1 and April 30.

The state of Minnesota department of Commerce has recently raised the maximum Crisis benefit to prevent utility service shut off from $1,500 to $3,000 for households that apply for the energy assistance program and face disconnection.
