Library Technology Conference The conference grew out of a very successful Midwest Library Technology conference held in St. Paul,

Paul, MN in May 2008 which attracted about 250 participants from five states. Each year since, participation levels have continued to grow with the conference reaching full attendance capacity of 500 total participants.

We understand that some of our attendees and presenters may choose not to attend. We have not had cancellations of sessions due to these concerns, however, we will update our schedule as needed. Our cancellation policy remains in effect. We will be placing extra hand-washing stations in our venues.

We are pleased to announce our second keynote speaker, Charlotte Roh! Charlotte is the Scholarly Communications Librarian at the University of San Francisco, a Jesuit institution with a strong social justice mission. Her experience includes a career in academic publishing as an editor, an MLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (where she discovered she was allergic to cats), a scholarly communication residency at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and fellowships with Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and the Library Publishing Coalition (LPC). She is currently the vice-chair of the ACRL Research and Scholarly Environment Committee, which has published a new research agenda that focuses on making the scholarly communication process more open, equitable, and inclusive.
