The Council for Minnesotans of African Heritage (CMAH) was honored to engage with the Elders’ 50+ Group, formerly Open Access Connections!

A special THANK YOU to Mrs. Linda Fancher, Mr. Metric Giles, their staff, and volunteers for creating space for meaningful conversations, fellowship, and community empowerment! 🤝🏾

Together, we explored the history of voting and the importance of protecting policies that impact our elders and future generations. 📚

The Council for Minnesotans of African Heritage (CMAH) was honored to participate in two outstanding events in the first two weeks of October 2026.

August 2: Minnesota Association of Black Social Workers Conference.

August 9: The State of Minnesota’s 2026 Inclusion Summit.

🎙A HUGE shout-out to the planning committees, speakers, and organizers for creating welcoming, engaging, and impactful experiences where everyone felt HEARD, VALUED, AND INCLUDED!

As we look ahead, let’s continue to walk together, fellowship together, and build a stronger African Heritage community across Minnesota!

🔥 BLACK EXCELLENCE WAS IN THE HOUSE! 🔥

CMAH was honored to join the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers (MABL) Annual Picnic on Sunday, September 13, 2026 ⚖️ From law students to attorneys and judges, it was beautiful to see our African Heritage Community connecting, laughing, mentoring, networking, and uplifting one another; the vibe was Absolutely AMAZING!

🎶 Shout-out to the DJ, vendors, organizers, and everyone who made this celebration one to remember! ❤️
