Key tips for a safe Thanksgiving holiday this year!

It’s Thanksgiving week! If you’re in charge of cooking this year, do you know what to do if a grease fire starts?

Rule No. 1: Don’t add water!

Try to cover the fire with a metal lid or baking tray to eliminate the oxygen and turn the burner off if possible.

If needed, turn to a fire extinguisher (only if you know how to use it correctly), or go outside and call 911 if it gets out of hand.
