MNCASA is a statewide coalition driving transformative culture change to address sexual violence through advocacy, prevention, racial justice, and systems change and policy. MNCASA acts as a collective voice of organizations and individuals committed to ending sexual violence. As the state coalition, we advocate publicly for the needs of victims/survivors statewide, serve as a point of connection

for our members, and work to increase their capacity through networking opportunities, technical assistance, and other resources. Immigrant survivors of abuse deserve to be safe. Congress must act now to safeguard protections for survivors. Congress must strengthen accountability and oversight measures at the Departments of Homeland Security and Justice, ensure no funds are used to apprehend, detain, or remove survivors, and act to reduce the U visa backlog.
