In this month of Mother’s Day, we continue our salute to all the moms past and present. Here’s a great memory of a Mother’s Day memorial donor when asked for a lesson that stays with her:

“I remember shopping at a big box store with her when she was maybe 90 years old. I accidentally dropped a bag of tortilla chips. As I reached to pick it up, she muttered, ‘And don’t you dare put that back on the shelf.’ Great lesson - you dropped it, it’s yours. Don’t pass onto a stranger what you wouldn’t want.”

Great coverage and event for Diaper Bank of MN! Second Stork is proud to be a coop partner of The Diaper Bank, helping new parents struggling with cost of diapers. Like them, we distribute directly to intermediaries (not direct to families) and have experienced increased demand from families feeling the crunch of diaper costs and rising prices. Second Stork specifically targets newborns leaving a hospital and also distributes safe sleep bassinets, newborn clothing, and more. Let’s go Gophers - and thank you Diaper Bank of Minnesota!
