Ramsey County Historical Society (RCHS) is proud to announce the appointment of Brandie Macdonald as its new Executive Director. An experienced museum and nonprofit leader, Brandie brings deep experience in museums, nonprofits and fostering cultures rooted in equity, inclusion, and purpose.

“I am honored to join Ramsey County Historical Society (RCHS) and to have the opportunity to work in partnership with such a dedicated team. Throughout my career, I have believed that museums and historical organizations are not simply places that preserve the past, but spaces that must center community collaboration and cultivate caring environments that help people to better understand themselves, one another, and the future they want to build together. I am inspired by RCHS’s dedication to preserving the multifaceted histories of Ramsey County while advancing equity, authenticity, experiential learning, and inclusion. I am excited to partner with staff, board, volunteers, and community members to deepen RCHS’ role as a trusted, immersive, and innovative steward of local history.” – Brandie Macdonald

Please join us in welcoming Brandie to Ramsey County and the RCHS community. We look forward to this exciting new chapter under her thoughtful and visionary leadership.
