April 2022 Revenue Release shows net general fund revenues totaled $4.7 billion, $1.1 billion (31.4 percent) more than forecast, in part due to timing of certain tax payments. A more complete report covering April-June receipts will be issued in July.

Check out the newly released MN Children’s Fiscal Map developed by the Children’s Cabinet in partnership with the Budget Division! It’s an interactive tool that uses shared parameters and definitions to provide fiscal information on programs that serve Minnesota children and youth. The tool aims to increase understanding of how the state allocates resources toward children to better inform investments that more equitably improve outcomes and ensure our children, youth, and communities thrive.
