The City of Saint Paul currently has six open VISTA positions to work within City departments or with partner organizations!

We are looking for members of the community to join us for a year of service. Roles and job duties include community engagement, volunteer recruitment, healthcare access, senior living support, equity training, and more. All positions allow VISTAs to attend school during off-hours, and offer a stipend and health care benefits. Learn about the positions and apply at stpaul.gov/vista.

We have been working with some talented people this year!! Our VISTAs have done *a lot* as the inaugural cohort for the City of Saint Paul's Birth-3 cohort. To keep the ball rolling, they are throwing an event with the Minnesota Children's Museum celebrating Saint Paul's littlest (and newest!) neighbors.

Families will not only get to have a night of play, but will receive a meal (with extras to bring home!), transportation, a free membership to the museum, and giveaways. There will also be a resource fair, so parents and caregivers can connect with city agencies and programs all in one space.

On April 2nd, the City of Saint Paul and Mayor Melvin Carter celebrated National Service Recognition Day, honoring all of our city's AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps VISTA, and Senior Corps members. Storymobile was there to capture some of the excitement!

Last week, our VISTA team had the chance to recharge and plan for the future. The City of Saint Paul is so lucky to have our VISTA members bringing their time and talents to the table to build a Saint Paul that works for our youngest residents and their families.
