Today Commission Chair Sieben and Vice Chair Sullivan helped celebrate the completion of the first phase of Sherco Solar - the largest solar project in the Upper Midwest. Once it's fully complete, the 710-megawatt project will generate enough low-cost, carbon-free electricity to power 150,000 homes and moves Minnesota closer to meeting its goal of transitioning to 100% clean energy by 2040.

Minnesota’s Cold Weather Rule began October 1. Even though the temps may still feel like summer, we want to make sure people know about Cold Weather Rule and the need to set up a payment plan before cold weather sets in. The Commission created a video to help utility customers better understand how to avoid losing heat and electricity this winter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAX6rHEUApY
