Congratulations to these students who participated in a master class with English organist Tom Bell at Martin Luther College this morning. Fine performances by all and great educational commentary from Mr. Bell. Pictured are Zach Anderson, Nathan Madson, Timothy Krause, Tom Bell, Lucas Krogmann and Lydia Wassermann. The summer organ recital series is almost here!

Our annual summer noontime recital series will run from June 14 - August 9 in Mankato. Note that the recital locations will be split between two churches again: Christ the King Lutheran and Bethlehem Lutheran. The address of both churches can be found on the poster below. Members of our chapter and regional artists will perform a 30 minutes recitals on Tuesdays at 12:10pm.

Congrats to the Gustavus Organ Studio for a great weekend of music! First a marvelous recital by Zach Anderson on Sunday, then a full house in the audience for the five Gustie musicians and nine Bethany Lutheran College musicians on the Dobson at BLC!

A few of us have been at the North Central Regional AGO Convention this week in St Louis, Missouri. A nice Nebraska-Gustavus connection during our time: our professor Dr. Chad Winterfeldt (DMA, Nebraska), Dr. Christopher Marks (Professor at Univ. of Nebraska), and David Lim 15' who studied with both at Gustavus and POE respectively. Many thanks to AGO American Guild of Organists - Saint Louis Chapter for a nice convention.

Our own Chad Winterfeldt will be opening the Sioux Trails AGO summer recital series this Tuesday at Christ the King Lutheran in Mankato (222 Pfau Street). David Lim '15 also plays a recital on 28 July. Mark your calendars! Looking forward to seeing many at these recitals!
