January is Radon Action Month
Did you know?
About two in five Minnesota homes have dangerous radon levels; every home should be tested.
In observance of Radon Action Month, Brown-Nicollet Environmental Health is partnering with the Minnesota Department of Health to offer 100 radon test kits at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis beginning January 2, 2024.
Short-term radon test kits will be available for pick-up at the Health and Human Services Office, on the first floor of the Nicollet County Health and Human Services Building, 622 S. Front Street, St. Peter, Minnesota.
Brown-Nicollet County staff encourages residents to call the office on Tuesday, January 2 to ensure free kits are still available: 507-934-8559.
