Unearth some prehistoric fun at the Saint Peter Public Library! Kids will get to design, build, and take home their very own miniature dinosaur garden. 🦕

Next Saturday is our Seed Library Event with Master Gardener Barb Maher! This one, on June 6th at 10am, covers topics related to eco-friendly yards and urban forests!

She will be bringing a limited number of native plants for you to take home and start your own native yard. First come, first served on native plants. All are welcome to come and learn from Barb.

This event is perfect for new or advance gardeners and gardeners looking to transform their yard and garden styles.

Lunch Bunch Book Club!
Looking for a fun summer activity for your readers? Bring your lunch and join Mrs. Freeman at the Saint Peter Public Library for a read-aloud book club!

There are 2 great options this summer:

Option 1: Over and Under Picture Books
Ages: 7–12

When: Thursdays, June 11 – June 25 @ 12:00 PM

Featuring: Nature & adventure picture books by Kate Messner.

Option 2: Impossible Creatures
Ages: 9–13

When: Thursdays, July 2 – August 6 @ 12:00 PM

Featuring: The magical, thrilling novel by Katherine Rundell.

The Saint Peter Library book club meets this morning at 10 a.m. by the library fireplace seating area.
This is the last library book club gathering for the season. Book club will resume again in the fall.

The Saint Peter Library along with the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative showcases a virtual author talk series each month featuring bestselling, award-winning, and highly acclaimed authors from around the world.

Explore MN Outdoors with Your Library Card!
We’ve partnered with the Minnesota DNR to offer free, 7-day state park vehicle passes. Stop by the library checkout desk to check availability. Passes are not renewable or holdable.

Display the pass clearly on your dashboard in your vehicle once you arrive at the State Park.
When your 7 days are up, just recycle the pass. No need to return the paper pass.

Please note: Covers vehicle entry only; camping fees/reservations are separate.
