Rep. Erica Schwartz and Jackie Henry received Republican Endorsements for House 18A and Senate District 18 on Wednesday, May 13th. at the Morson-Ario-Strand VFW.

Mankato, Minnesota — May 13, 2026— At an endorsing convention of delegates elected at the 2026 Caucuses, Rep. Erica Schwartz of Nicollet and Jackie Henry of rural St. Peter received unanimous endorsements for Minnesota House District 18A and Senate District 18 respectively on Wednesday, May 13th at the Morson-Ario-Strand VFW in Mankato. Rep. Schwartz is in her 1st term in the House. This is the first campaign for Jackie Henry, a retired financial planner.

Those gathered at the endorsing convention heard a message of freedom and working for the common good from both Rep. Schwartz and Ms. Henry. Both women pledged to lead with honesty and integrity and listen to the voters of their districts.

Jackie Henry emphasized her work helping people plan and budget as a financial planner. This topic of financial responsibility and experience will play well this election cycle, as the Democrats are embroiled in a massive financial mismanagement scandal that has under minded voter confidence in government. Ms. Henry has also been a trailblazer for women in agriculture as a young student and still resides on her family’s farm in rural Nicollet Co.

Rep. Erica Schwartz emphasized her role as a working parent and as a small business owner, often identifying with customers who are feeling higher prices at the gas pump and at the grocery store. In her first term, Rep. Schwartz has championed fiscal responsibility and the establishment of the Office of Inspector General.

House District 18A incorporates all of Nicollet County, including the cities of St. Peter and North Mankato, plus Kasota in LeSueur County, Lime Township in Blue Earth as wells as Mankato Precincts west of Riverfront Drive and North of US-14.

Senate District 18 includes all of Nicollet County, including the cities of St. Peter and North Mankato, the City of Kasota in LeSueur County, the City of Mankato in Blue Earth as well as Lime Township and the City of Eagle Lake.

Endorsed candidate for MN GOVERNOR, KENDALL QUALLS, will be a Governor for ALL of Minnesota .......

I had the privilege of spending an evening with North Minneapolis residents and small-business owners who are tired of not being heard. A big thank you to Jon Koznick for taking the time to listen, answer questions, and have a real conversation. We could use more of that kind of leadership.
