Rain or shine, the show went on!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Spencer Road Branch Library to keep the Sunset with the Symphony celebration alive despite the weather. The indoor venue was filled with music and community spirit as more than 800 audience members enjoyed a special performance by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.

One of the evening’s highlights was the opportunity for attendees to become part of the performance by singing and playing along to a special arrangement of “America the Beautiful” in celebration of the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

Another memorable moment featured St. Peters Police Department Officer and veteran Lance Jones reading The Sullivan Ballou Letter during the moving performance of “Ashokan Farewell,” adding a powerful historical tribute to the evening’s program.

Together, musicians and community members created a memorable and meaningful celebration of America 250.

Due to impending inclement weather conditions, tonight’s Sunset with the Symphony concert will be held in the St. Charles City-County Library Spencer Road Branch located at 427 Spencer Road, St. Peters MO 63376 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Admission remains free and open to the public.

Celebrate America's 250th anniversary lakeside with the beautiful sounds of a world-class symphony!

Join us Monday, June 8, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at 370 Lakeside Park as the world-renowned St. Louis Symphony Orchestra returns for a FREE Sunset with the Symphony concert. We are closely monitoring the weather forecast, and if inclement weather occurs, the concert will be moved indoors to the Spencer Road Branch Library. For the latest updates, download the St. Peters app or visit stpetersmo.net.

Become part of the performance as we celebrate America 250 with a community-wide rendition of “America the Beautiful.”

Whether you sing or play an instrument, you're invited to join in. Beginner and intermediate parts, plus special lyrics, are available for free download at slso.org.

Gator’s Grill and dessert food trucks will be onsite with refreshments available for purchase, including a special Italian pasta salad.

Who else spent last Friday cruising through the classics?

The Portholes brought their signature yacht rock sound to 370 Lakeside Park for a fun and danceable night at Sunset Fridays. Guests enjoyed smooth tunes, great food, and beautiful lakeside views as they sang along and danced the night away at the Corporate Pavilion.

The lively French Creole sounds had the Corporate Pavilion dancing all night long as guests enjoyed another beautiful evening along the lake.

What a meaningful Memorial Day morning in St. Peters!

Families, veterans, and community members gathered at the Veterans Memorial outside St. Peters City Hall to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. From the special flyover and wreath ceremony to the rifle salute, bagpipes, and Taps, the morning was filled with moments of remembrance and reflection.

Special thanks to everyone who helped make the ceremony possible, and all who joined us to remember and honor our nation’s heroes.

Join the St. Peters Veterans Memorial Commission this Memorial Day as we honor the brave men and women of our nation’s Armed Services who gave their lives in service to our country.

This year’s guest speaker is Lt. Col. Rance Bryan, a retired Missouri Air National Guard officer with more than 22 years of service in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, including deployments to Iraq.

Get ready to dance the night away as Zydeco Crawdaddys bring their lively French Creole sound and Mardi Gras energy to Sunset Fridays at 370 Lakeside Park!

The music starts at 6:30 p.m. this Friday, May 22, 2022, with food and beverage sales open at 6 p.m. Come out and enjoy great music at the winery-style Corporate Pavilion venue along the lake!

NEW THIS YEAR: Gator’s Grill is serving freshly grilled burgers, hot dogs and more at Sunset Concerts! Other food options this week are, Pretzel Boys and dessert food trucks Beverly Ann's Cookie & Ice Cream Truck and Lily's Cafe!
