Applied Behavior Services provides cutting edge services to individuals in a wide variety of settings. These services include:
•Early intensive in-home intervention programs for children to teach language, academic, social, and adaptive behavior skills.

•Social skills groups and other small group instruction to teach appropriate peer interaction

🌟 A Belated What’s Your Win Wednesday! 🌟

Last week brought us two wonderful wins! Not only did we have a fun and successful first week back to school after our summer break, but we also celebrated the opening of a brand-new classroom at our West Campus!

Our Transitional Learning Classroom (TLC) focuses on vocational and independent living skills to help prepare our older students for a successful transition into adulthood and life after graduation.

We are so excited to offer this new classroom and provide even more opportunities to help our students build confidence, develop meaningful skills, and prepare for a successful future!

Congratulations to our Clinic/ School/ Community August Employee of the Month: Priyanka Suresh Babu

Priya is an RBT in our Early Intervention Clinic. She has been with us in clinic a little over 6 months but has vast knowledge of the field. Priya has become one of our most reliable and knowledgeable RBTs in the clinic and we, along with Little Miss PM, would be lost without her. She is positive, she takes feedback and immediately puts it into action, her notes are ALWAYS done on time, and she is just as kind as kind can be. Priya really is an undeniable constant in the clinic. She has built great relationships with the parents on her teams and works well with all clinical staff. Thank you for choosing ABS every day and we hope you find yourself just as happy here as we are to have you!

What a wonderful way to wrap up our last week at North Campus before the break! We packed so many memories into one amazing Spirit Week. We spent time cooling off in the water and celebrating three incredible students as they begin their next chapters with a fun farm filled dress up day, sweet treats, and a dance party that featured all their favorite hits!

We also celebrated our very own student filmmaker at the premiere of their movie, Mary. After spending his entire summer in a film class creating, writing, and producing the film, it was such a proud moment to see their hard work come to life on the big screen!

🌟 Wednesday Win! 🌟

Today we are celebrating a great milestone from one of our students! 💙

During “library” time, our student independently selected an educational book from the cabinet, carried it to his desk, and then began verbally identifying the shapes and animals throughout the book. After naming each one, he would look to his teacher for confirmation that he was correct.
Watching confidence, communication, and independence come together in one beautiful moment was truly unforgettable.

And to make it even more special…it all happened on his birthday! 🎉🎂

🌟 Win Wednesday! 🌟

There is nothing better than celebrating the incredible milestones our students and clients achieve alongside their families, school teams, and everyone who supports them every step of the way. We are so grateful to be part of these journeys!

One family shared that their child sat through multiple performances, something that was once incredibly difficult. What a meaningful moment for their entire family!

Another parent celebrated that, for the first time ever, their son successfully went to the movies and watched fireworks—all in the same weekend! Those are memories that families cherish forever.

We are also celebrating a new student who is becoming increasingly fluent with his AAC device and words. Watching communication grow and confidence blossom is truly amazing!

Every milestone represents hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and countless moments of encouragement. Congratulations to these incredible students, their families, educators, therapists, and everyone who helped make these successes possible.

We can’t wait to see what next week brings! ❤️

Congratulations to our Clinic/ School/ Community July Employee of the Month: Danielle Berra

Danielle is a BCBA in our Early Intervention Clinic. She has been with us in clinic since October but with the agency for many years. Danielle has held many different roles in ABS including teacher and school consultant but this time I think she found her permanent place! Danielle is a newly minted BCBA and she worked her tail off to pass that test, one and done! I am so thankful for her dedication to the kids and doing the right thing. She has also really done a great job at taking feedback, applying it, and working towards her best self. She has grown as a leader and is working hard to build relationships with not only her RBTs but the families she serves. She hits her deadlines and takes accountability when there’s room to grow. She understands the importance of notes and signatures and ensures they are done timely. She is our ambassador of safety always looking at things with her “mom eye” to make sure we aren’t putting our littles in harms way. Thank you for all the work you’re putting in to be amazing. You are definitely seen!
