There is something different about the start of the day at St. Pete Pier.

Whether you go for a walk, head out for a morning run, or simply wander to the end of the Pier with a coffee in hand, you are met with one of the best sunrise views in St. Pete. The water is calm, the city is quiet, and for a few minutes, everything slows down.

Have you ever watched the sunrise from the Pier or somewhere else you love? Tell us where in the comments and what made it special.

A perfect day in St. Pete can be as simple as this: coffee by the water, a slow stroll beneath the palms, then lunch and a drink at Perry's Porch. ☕

From there, it is an easy walk over to St. Pete Pier, where you can spend the rest of the afternoon by the waterfront. Take your time exploring, watch the boats go by, and enjoy one of those days where there is nowhere else you need to be.

Who would you bring along for a day like this?

The St. Pete Pier may look different today, but race weekend has been bringing crowds to the waterfront for decades.

Back in the 1990s, the iconic inverted pyramid Pier was the backdrop for offshore racing across Tampa Bay. Today, the new Pier gives people a different view, but the excitement of watching the boats speed past is still the same.

If you spent time at the inverted pyramid, we would love to hear what you remember most!

Looking for a family-friendly day out in St. Petersburg? The St. Pete Pier makes it easy.

Spend the day exploring the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center, cooling off at the splash pad, stopping by the playground, and enjoying all the open space, waterfront views, and easy food stops along the way.

It’s one of the best spots for a full family day without needing a big plan.

Some days are better with no plans at all. Just find a spot at the St. Pete Pier, watch the boats move across the bay, and stay a little longer than you meant to.

That is usually when the best moments happen.

There is something about seeing the St. Pete Pier from the water that makes everything slow down.

Just a boat, the bay, and the skyline in the distance. No plans, no rush, just one of those moments that reminds you why St. Pete is so easy to love.

What is your favorite way to spend a day by the water?

There’s just something about a day at the St. Pete Pier that dogs seem to love. 🐾

Between the open space, waterfront views, and plenty of new smells, it’s basically their version of the perfect outing. Add in a few treats and a sunny lawn, and they’re completely in their element.

If your dog could plan their own day at the Pier, what do you think would be their first stop?
