**Important Reminder: August 8th is the Last Day to Request a Mail Ballot for the 2024 Primary Election!**

Don't wait until the last minute—take action now to ensure your voice is heard. Requesting a mail ballot is a crucial step to be prepared for any unexpected events that might prevent you from voting in person. Emergencies can arise, but your vote still matters. Make sure you’re ready by following these steps to register and request your mail ballot today:

1. Online Registration: Visit the Pinellas Supervisor of Elections website and check your status or request a mail ballot form. https://www.votepinellas.gov/checkmymailballotstatus

It’s Donald Trump or Democracy – that’s our choice in this election. Donald Trump touts his transformation of the U.S. Supreme Court as one of his presidency’s greatest accomplishments, with the appointment of three conservative Justices. That same Supreme Court is refusing to protect unhoused people across the nation from this cruel and unusual punishment!

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development estimates that half a million people are likely to be homeless on any given night. A study by the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness found that 42 percent of homeless people sleep in public locations such as under bridges, in parks, or on the sidewalks.

Conservative majority of the Supreme Court allowed local ordinaces that criminalize homelesness to continue
