Soldiers of the 196th Transportation Company, a Contingency Readiness Force unit, executed a Mass Medical Event on 6 December 2025 during Battle Assembly to strengthen medical readiness and emergency response capability.

Brigade Command Sgt. Maj. Joseph Grasso visited the Soldiers during battlefield circulation to observe training, recognize progress, and engage with the formation as they continue developing core CRF skills.

“It matters that leaders show up,” said Grasso. “Being present reinforces confidence in the mission and in the Soldiers who make it possible.”

On 7 December 2025, during Battle Assembly weekend, the 993rd Transportation Company conducted a Change of Responsibility ceremony welcoming 1st Sgt. Alphaeus Anthony as the company’s senior enlisted leader and recognizing the service of outgoing 1st Sgt. Heriberto Garcia Lopez. Brigade Command Sgt. Maj. Joseph Grasso and Battalion Command Sgt. Maj. Michelle Hill joined the unit to engage with Soldiers and discuss upcoming missions as the 993rd prepares to operate as a Combat Ready Force Element and participate in Operation Sentinel Justice during this year’s annual training. During Battle Assembly, Sgt. Tabitha Taylor was presented a coin in recognition of her outstanding efforts to increase personnel readiness and support mission success.
